Featured in GAP photo of the week! :o)

Ha! :o) So excited!

I figured since Anya’s wardrobe is like 90% GAP, I better get some photos of her in one of her winter outfits, as I just looove her new, cozy hoodie :o) Some days down the road, while I was surfing their site I thought I may as well just try my luck and submit the photo we got of her ….. and ha! Lucky we were :o)

Facebook photo compression is just not a friend of mine, so check below if you want to see a nicer res version of the same photo :o)

HERE‘s the link to her photo.

Thanks so much for all the comments! :o))

Liam, 6 months old

Oh my cuteness!! I have to start this post with the cutest Halloween photo *EVER*. Can you believe it??? What an ADORABLE, SWEET, SWEET boy (+ cutest lion ever!)! Do you recognize this cute little face? It’s Liam, 6 months old (already!!!).

Oh yeah … this little ham is grabbing 2 prizes at the same time, cutest lion AND cutest elephant :o))

And if you wondered, YES … I probably pinched those cute cheeks right after I took this photo :o))) <3 My goodness, that expression! I just love him :o)

I mean *check out* his expression in the photo below!!! :o))

Nothing but smiles, this little man is a very special and very loved little man!

And I love his blue eyes … and mohawk, I mean … what is there not to love about him?? <3

Heart melter!

Hehe!

I can just keep going and going with his photos :o))

Love!

And one more with mommy!

He looks so old in the next few photos, haha … cutie!

I just love his hair :o))

And one last one with the happy family <3

Kennedy, almost 1.5 years old

I loved my recent outdoor family sessions, it’s so nice to shoot outside before the winter hits :o)) I just wanted to share a few photos I grabbed of little Miss Kennedy, who actually graduated from my photo sessions earlier this summer, but I couldn’t resist taking just a few more of her and her sweet parents :o)

Little Miss sweetheart! I loved her outfit :o)

… and isn’t she just the cutest Ewok ever??? :o)))

Merrick, 3 months old

Boy, oh boy do I love this set, look who came in for his 3 months photos! :o) I’m currently surrounded by boys, how funny how they always comes in waves :o)

Little Merrick did SUCH a great job! 3 months old photos can go either way as the baby is in charge of the shoot (well, they always are, aren’t they?), but seriously, he gave SO many beautiful smiles, my heart almost exploded :o))

Superman in the making! :o))

He’s such a handsome little man!

Cutie <3

So many smiles, I am so spoiled!

Can not wait to see you again soon, little man! <3

Nicholas, 5 years old

So happy to share this little set :o) While it was pouring in Boston, and most of my shoots got canceled due to the nasty weather, I had the opportunity to hang out with one of my friends and her beautiful, smart and oh-so-sweet boy. While we didn’t get to do any nice outdoor photos, we took a few photos of “a day in Nicky’s life” :o) This little guy sure got my heart, he’s such a little charmer! And hey, my afternoon, filled with an excursion to a medieval castle followed by a Ninja attack and some snuggle time with mommy could have really not been any better! :o)

Meet Nicky, one of the sweetest boys I know!

I am not really sure what I told him right before I snapped this, but I think I broke his little heart :o)) Noooo, no worries, I promise I didn’t say anything mean …. he’s a too big of a cutie! :o)

Look at this little man!! Could he be any more handsome????

Silly boy! :o)

He looks so old in this one … watch out mama, he’s growing up right before your eyes! <3

These two must be my 2 favorite photos from the set :o))) Whatch out ladies! :o))

And one with my sweet friend / his mommy …. one of the best mommies in the world! And I mean that!

Ninja time!!!

Have to finish this set with a silly little collage :o) Hanging out with mommy is just the best! :o)

You grow up way too fast, sweet little Nicky! I can’t wait to see you again soon! <3

Desmond, 1.5 years old + Tiffany’s & Colin’s 4 year anniversary shoot

A little while ago, I decided to plan oooone more trip to Boston, the last one this year. My wedding season already came to an end, but I had so many “ex” clients I wanted to see and photograph them with their newest additions + I had some engagement shoots lined up also, … and I thought fall would be a wonderful time to come out one more time and take some photos. Well … the New England weather had other plans for me, and I had to cancel all my shoots … all that is … until one. Tiffany contacted me as soon as she heard that I was coming into town and we decided to do parts of their shoot at the pretty Boston Public Library. I always wanted to go back and take a cool couple/family to this gorgeous place …. but you kinda have to be tricky about it as the place gets pretty crowded. But we met up early and I think we got some real keepers. :o)

Ready? Here we go:

Baby Desmond, he’s SUCH a cute little mister :o)

I couldn’t resist :o))

:o))) I wonder what they found in the encyclopedia that was so funny :o))) You guys crack me up ;o)

suuuch a cutie!!!

Looove this series :o)) Smiles, smiles and more smiles …. I couldn’t have asked for a better family on that rainy day! <3

Weeee :o))

They are such a GORGEOUS and FUN couple / family! <3

A little fun on the side :o))) Love his hair :o)))

A few with his beyond beautiful mommy <3 It’s the little things in life :o)

And a few with his sweet daddy :o) This is one loved little guy! :o)

Love his sweet little face on the right :o)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wooonderful shoot you guys!!! <3

Savannah & Jai • 7 months pregnant

Ohhhhh I’m so excited to share this set. Ok, I am ALWAYS excited to share photos, but this shoot was just SO much fun, relaxed and taken on the most beautiful, peaceful spot on the Cape. I haven’t been back there in a couple of years and we totally lucked out with the most amazing weather, light and fog in the background (this spot on the Cape just really makes me happy! I’m a beach girl, what should I say?) … and having 2 wonderful people in front of the camera that just can’t wait to meet their little peanutella didn’t hurt of course :o)

Savannah actually contacted me out of the blue in exactly the right moment as sweet Geneve (who I usually work with) was already taken and I was dragging to find somebody new to shoot with. I’ll admit it, I really don’t like shooting with people I don’t know – it’s nothing personal, …. it’s just nice to rely on somebody that you already know and don’t have to worry about their part of the day while you’re shooting somebody’s biggest day of their life. Of course I usually try to meet with any new second shooters before the wedding, just so we have a feel for each other and we’re both not shooting with a stranger. At the same time I thought I really wanted to have some family photos taken of us, since my hubbers + girlies joined me for my last Cape Cod trip this year and I asked her if she wouldn’t mind …. good thing she actually wanted to have some photos taken also, and we ended up swapping shoots.

Savannah & Jai are just such an amazing and sweet couple, the instant I met them I couldn’t imagine anybody nicer in front / and behind the camera :o) Maybe I’ll share some of the photos she took of us later, I honestly don’t know how I’ll pick my favorites, I’m so happy with our set :o) At the same time I am SO excited to share this set … Pregnancy is one of the most amazing times in a woman’s life … ladies, tell me it’s not true. I used to LOVE feeling my babies kick in my tummy and dream about our future as family & just imagine how he/she would be. It’s such a wonderful time, and just how amazing does Savannah look? She takes pregnancy glow to a whole new level :o)

Love you guys, you will be amazing parents! <3

Savannah’s website

Maryellen & Brendan • Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

My goodness, I just realized that I haven’t updated my blog for a while, yiiikes … but I’ve been busy designing (15!) albums … yup, that’s fifteen! Crazy!

Well, I am sooo excited to share photos from my last wedding this year! It really couldn’t have been a better end to my 2012 season! A gorgeous, sweet-as-can-be couple, getting married on the Cape … at a gooorgeous venue (oh and some overcast sky that makes the photo part nice and easy for me)! YUP, I’m ONE LUCKY photographer! :o)

Maryellen & Brendan, I hope you’re enjoying the last couple of days on your honeymoon. Thank you soooo much for sharing your special day with us, I hope you enjoy your little sneak peek :o)

Maryellen & Brendan held their ceremony at Our Lady of the Cape and partied all night at the GORGEOUS Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Course in Brewster, Cape Cod.

Loook at the beautiful details! *sigh*!

SO glamorous!!

And this is probably my favorite dress  shot of all times! What a place! LOVE the Ocean Edge!

I told Maryellen I couldn’t leave her until I took just a FEW photos at the beautiful window :o)

Gotta love window light …

Ceremony: Our Lady of the Cape, Brewster, Cape Cod

Reception Venue: Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Course, Brewster, Cape Cod

A late afternoon at the Larimer County Fair :o)

Not too long ago I found a little flyer at Anya’s school, there will be a FAIR near us! It has been YEARS since I’ve been to the fair (they’re quite big where I am from, haha! And I mean HUGE!), so I knew we’d have to go to show Anya and Amelia. – Well … Amelia was still too small, we knew that- but it was so fun to watch Anya take it all in with big eyes :o) Her first visit to the fair! :o)

^ Anya with her fish, that my husband won for her <3

Merrick, 6 days old

This lucky photographer got to cuddle a newborn not too long ago again! Little Merrick was tiny, and just SOSO cute …. I wish I could have a little nebwie on my side 24/7 … well … ok … – 8 hours of some sleep :o) Though I gotta say, this little guy was SUCH an awesome trooper during our shoot. Once he fell asleep (which was in like the first 15 minutes, if I remember correctly), he didn’t want to wake up anymore – he’d definitely be called a PERFECT baby if you ask *any* photographer :o)) But seriously, he’s a handsome little guy and I had so much fun at our shoot. Can not wait to see you again soon, little Merrick + mommy and daddy! <3

Can’t get enough of this little face <3

This one is just too cute for word, isn’t it? Probably my favorite photo from our shoot, haha! <3

Couldn’t decide which one to post of the next 2 photos, just LOVE them both!

And Nancy … you my dear are one gorgeous mommy!

Love you guys! Thanks for coming by and I of course can not wait to hang out with you again, it was so nice chatting with you! <3

Liam, 3 months old

Awww! Look at this little guy! Little Liam came to visit me a bit over a week ago, he’s such a precious little man. He’s gotten so big, and boy is he strong! He can pretty much stand on his own feet (well, with a little help) – getting worried he’ll be running away from me on our 6-month shoot, haha – uhm … I’m serious! :o))

I love including the parents in the 3 months sessions, so we got quite a few of mommy and daddy with Liam. Really liking his set, hope you do too :o)

He’s clearly a very loved little guy :o)

Look at those cool outfits mommy brought to the shoot! Ha! Too cute! :o) Love his little smirk on the right :o))

Aw! Smiles, miles and more smiles :o)

This little man didn’t want to keep his hands under his chest :o))) He’ll be on the mooove sooner than you know it! :o))

Cutie! Love this series <3

See you soon little Liam! <3

Shaleen & Daniel • Cobb Hill Estate

Hmmmm … well, I was thinking I could try describing my next wedding with one single word, but I couldn’t come up with just ONE. How about 4? Sweet, intimate, touching and inspiring?.

Right after I read Shaleen’s very first email to me I KNEW their wedding would be special. It was definitely not one of those emails were you think that the bride copy pasted her wedding details into 50 emails and sent them to all the photographers in the area she could think of. After we exchanged a few emails, I had the pleasure meeting them both in NY for our “interview” that made me even more excited about their big day! What should I say, the engagement session was a whole lot of fun (even if we got into quite some rain!), it was so nice getting to know them and hearing about how they met and how Dan proposed (Shaleen, I think I’ll have to ask you to type that story up for me at some point, it’s just too sweet!) and I gotta say, they could have not chosen a better venue for their celebration! The Cob Hill Estate is a truly wonderful place, overlooking the NH hills; very intimate and close to nature with a wonderful rustic feel. Now, I have been to quite a few weddings … and uhm … seen a lot of wedding shows (probably too many if you ask my husband), and there are so many brides that get lost in all their details and love for perfection – not saying that this wedding wasn’t perfect, in fact … it WAS! Shaleen & Dan did SUCH a beautiful job making the day all about them and their love for each other. The ceremony was just SO wonderful … uhm, I *think* I might have seen some tears here and there … I gotta say, the vows & letters really got me (more about that later), the whole atmosphere was just so relaxed and everybody had a wonderful time – what do you want more? A perfect wedding.

Sooooo … as mentioned … I knew Shaleen would come up with some cute details, but little did I know just HOW creative she (uhm … they) would be! It doesn’t happen often that I want to take my camera out before I see the bride, but … this time was different! Look what Shaleen & Daniel prepared for the guests to read on the way to the Estate (the first few photos were taken by my lovely second shooter, Sharona)

Look at that beautiful garter and handkerchief … that both of them used to wipe away their tears during their ceremony:

Shaleen’s sister helped her with her make-up:

Shaleen decided to wear the pearl necklace, Daniel gave her on their first (!) date. How wonderful!

Mrs gorgeous:

Just love this one:

My goodness, do I love this photo of you Shaleen!

And some of sweet Dan:

Love this one that Sharona took :o))

Soso pretty!

Love this one, caught by Sharona:

Shaleen & Daniel sealed a box with letters for each other and letters from their parents as well as a bottle of wine that I think they’ll get to open on their 10th anniversary! What a wonderful idea! I’ve only seen one couple do something similar. LOVE the idea and boy do I want to be a fly on your wall when you read those letters! <3

Shaleen  & Daniel planned in a few minutes for just themselves after the ceremony – they’re so sweet! :o))

Look at that!!! I’d say that’s ONE HAPPY groom! :o))

And look at those perfect favors! Love, love, love!

Down to the Thank You tag, just perfect!

Loved this little guy :o) At their engagement session we had a little snail visit us, and this time we had a caterpillar, how fitting :o) Bet you had butterflies on your honeymoon ;o))

Guestbook, but of course not the ordinary kind! No, Shaleen & Dan asked their guests to find and circle words in an old dictionary that “define their love”:

And how pretty and fitting is the sitting chart? How creative!

Loved the cake too! Birch style!

Let’s talk about dragon flies :o)) They were EVERYWHERE (and I thought we had a mosquito problem, haha!). I honestly didn’t see any the day off, but when I started processing the photos they were just everywhere! So, when I opened up the below photo, my eye automatically wandered to the roof of the house …. so I zoomed in … that was not a dragon fly … those were TWO birds! I mean … come on right?!?! I guess it was a lucky catch also as I took about 4 shot of the same pose and one of the birds must have only been there for a little while as this is the only photo with both birdies in it. Yup, you guys are THAT lucky – and nope, there’s no photoshop magic involved in that one! :o) … and … if I may say so … that one killer sunset shot in my book (you guys know I don’t like posing my couples in front of sunsets – but every once in a while there is a time and place for it) :o)

This one was actually taken at night. I prefer the light sepia version to the color for some reason (and yup, that’s the moon). And with this photo I am finishing this beautiful set. I hope you guys enjoyed the sneak peek, the full gallery will be available later tonight to start chilling the champagne and make yourself a cozy evening :o)

Thank you for letting me capture your beautiful event, Shaleen & Dan – best wishes for a wonderful life together!

A special thank you to my second photographer Sharona Jacobs, for shooting with me that day (some of her photos are included in this post)

Kennedy, 1 year old

Oh my – oh my!! Can you believe little Miss Kennedy turned one a couple weeks ago? Ahhhhhh, they grow up SO fast – I know, I know … I keep saying it, but it’s just SO true! I’ll have to share a little collage of her growing up, but for the time being I thought I’d post a few from our (almost) last shoot. Love this little girl. Happy first birthday sweetheart!

What a sweet little darling :o) And check out that super pretty cake mommy made for her <3

I mean honestly …. could she be any cuter???

I’ll miss seeing you, little one!

She was so cautious with the cake, it was just too cute :o)

Love her little face on the right :o)))

Threatening me to get out of the chair and run off :o)) She’s faaaast!

Happy birthday sweet Kennedy!

Amanda & Sean • Pinehills Golf Club

Time for yet an other wedding post before I will spice up my blog with some baby photos – one of which is due tomorrow, so let’s all keep mommy in our minds :o)

I’m always excited when I get inquiries for my favorite wedding venues, and of course I got really excited when I heard that Amanda & Sean were planning to have their reception at the beautiful Pinehills Golf Club. Unfortunately the weather didn’t really want to cooperate – of course it started pouring as soon as we started with our posed photos – booo :oI But I think we made the best out of it, with some help from THE sweetest onsite wedding coordinator, Katy :o) … and in the end I *know* everybody had a fabulous time (that was a heck of a party!), Amanda looked of course gorgeous (uhm, Sean didn’t look to shabby either) :o) and rain is supposed to bring luck after all, right? You guys are blessed, that’s for sure :o))

I hope you guys had an amaaaaaazing time in Aruba! :o) Thanks so much for letting me capture your beautiful day! :o) Ready for a little sneak peek? Here we go ….

Amanda & Sean held their ceremony at St. Mary Parish and their fun, colorful reception at the Pinehills Golf Club.

Beautiful Amanda on her wedding day:

I looooove peonies! :o)

And Mr Sean – the handsome groom :o)

Look at that beaaaaautiful blue sky!! Grrrrr …. Dear Petrus, could you not have waited about one more hour?? :oI But I guess I can’t complain – I’m glad we got a few sunny ones :o)

Love this one, that sweet Geneve caught:

What a pretty church!

Ok, you would never believe it looking at this photo, but there was thunder and lightning in the background … eeeeeek! That’s one brave bridal party :o))

What a pretty couple!

Aaaand that was the last shot before the rain chased us away :o( SO glad we got a few with the beautiful background – I love Pine Hills Golf Club for SO many different reasons!

Luckily the happy couple kept smiling for me :o)

And after the weather got REALLY mad at us we sneaked inside for a few more shots:

Aaaaaah, Pinehills Golf Club! They have SUCH a beautiful, bright, airy indoor space. Just SO pretty!

And the party began … :o)

Pamela & David • Destination Wedding at Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

I know many people have been patiently waiting for this post – it’s been a long time coming … as much as I was dying to share these photos, as soon as I had a first peek at them I knew I’d have a hard time choosing favorites.

I gotta say, sweet Pamela is ONE artsy bride with a beautiful taste! I have never seen such a colorful wedding in my life! It was like a festival of colors and emotions! What a wedding, what a week! I had a very special feeling when I got the first email from Pamela that this wedding will be different – this girl put a LOT of thoughts and love into everything she did … starting with the “message in a bottle” wedding invitation, the Mayan ceremony, the gorgeous venue in Tulum … all the “little” details and last but not least … our day after shoot! I have no words for this wedding! I think everybody that came to Mexico to celebrate with Pamela & David agrees, it was *just beautiful* event and you guys are SUCH a sweet and special couple, I’ll keep you in my heart for forever!

Pamela and David got ready at the Grand Palladium, White Sand and held their Mayan Ceremony as well as their reception at the gorgeous Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

Shhhhht, are you ready for this? Here we go:

Look at that wonderful, custom made wedding gown AND Pamela’s beautiful necklace that she did herself!

What a beautiful bride!

Check out the back of the necklace! Pretty, right???!! She also did the girl’s necklaces (told you, she’s ONE CRAFTY bride!), while grandma made their dresses!

Cuteness! Pamela’s nieces:

SO gorgeous!

Look at the colors!! everybody was wearing a different color dress!

Couldn’t resist to put the next two photos next to each other :o) Love the blue! These were taken at Las Ranitas.

Meet the groom David! :o)

Mr. Handsome :o)

Told you! Festival of colors! :o) David & Pamela had some Mayan Dancers perform a dance before the ceremony! I wish I could ad music to my photos. It was just SO fun!

Ahhh so pretty! I wish I could go back in time!

LOVE the next few! PURE JOY!

and look at that smile!!

those two are truly made for each other!

And one of all the guests! :o) Look at the coloooooors!!! HOW FUN!

Oh my! Love, love, love the boutonnieres and the bouquets! What should I say?? I loved EVERYTHING about this wedding!

Family!

My goodness!! Will it be awkward if I hang some of your wedding photos on my wall?? Haha!

Fiesta!!

Did I mention that those two lovebirds got married exactly 10 years after they met in Mexico? On cinco de mayo.

<3

I really had a hard time putting ANY of these photos into sepia, but thought it fit for this photo …

Duckies for Good Luck (heard that putting duckies into the ocean is a Mexican custom?). They sure are one LUCKY couple and I was ONE LUCKY photographer!!

Gotta love David :o))) He was making fun of me posing Pamela :o)))) David, you got some moves! Bet GQ will call you right after I make this post public :o))

The message in a bottle aka coolest destination wedding invitation EVER!

SUNSET! Could the colors be any prettier???

Sneaking in a photo I took of them at the Grand Palladium:

Back at the venue:

I mean seriously! Look at those FUN “table cloths” … and colorful frames – that I believe P&D brought from home!

and now check out their table settings! Colors, colors, colors! They made the napkins & napkin rings, the signs, brought the vases from home .. check out the drink (key) charms. Love, love, love!

Flowers for your hair ladies? This bride thought of everything!

and look at that pretty view! What a PERFECT location, Las Ranitas is directly at the beach, just so pretty and perfectly BREEZY!

Oh and like this was enough …. check out their little Mexican-Tequila-shots!!!

Sneaking one more photo in from the hotel:

I have decided to include Pamela’s & David’s Trash the Dress / Day After photos into the same post, because I really don’t want you to miss them :o) So here we go:

What a dream bride, right?

Pamela got in touch with a cenote owner and organized us private access to a couple of cenotes! How fun!!! I could have photographed those two the entire day … well … with some swimming pool breaks maybe … hehe … it was HOT out in cenote-land! :o))) But OH SO WORTH the trip! We started the next day bright and early with the drive to the cenotes … and ended up doing a few more photos at their / our pretty hotel the Grand Palladium, White Sand:

a little break in between photo-locations :o)

That’s it! WOW! Uhm ….. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll miss posting photos from this wedding!

Kim and Patrick said YES just about 2 weeks ago, and I gotta say, it was suuuuch a perfect day. You can just really feel the love-sparks between them and I gotta say, they had a heck of a party :o)

Danielle & Zack held their ceremony and reception at the Wedgewood Pines Country Club, a truly beautiful venue a bit west of Boston, it had such a nice feel to it.

What should I say, it was a perfect day … a PERFECT couple (sweet as can be!) and a wonderful wedding party, what would one want more??! :o)

Danielle & Zack, it was wonderful seeing you celebrate your big day with all your friends and family. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with us!

Ready? Let’s get to the photos! :o)

I loooooved Danielle’s shoes! What a nice way to ad some color to your wedding outfit :o)

So pretty! Not a photo I usually share, but I really like the shot of Danielle and her mom :o) …. and the girls of course too :o)

The beauuuuutiful bride, Danielle:

LOVED those lacy shoulder straps! She could even take them off at the reception … clever, clever :o)

And the handsome groom, Zack:

Love the shot with his best man :o)) Hey, don’t blame me, THEY insisted on the pose :o)))

Just beautiful … and what a pretty setting with the tall trees in the background …

I actually knew most of the girls from Kate’s (2009) wedding, it was soooo nice seeing some familiar faces again – what a BEAUTIFUL group of ladies :o)

Danielle, you’re just GORGEOUS!

Danielle and her maid of honor :o)

Hehehe … jumping shots!!! :o)))

Liam, 4 days old

Oh MY!! I can’t believe I still haven’t shared Liam’s set with you guys yet! Loooook who visited me right before my wedding season kicked in! Baby Liam! He’s SUCH a precious little boy, oh boy do I love babies (I even got a chance to sneak in a little cuddle – hehe), kinda crazy to think that our baby is only 3 months older than him – they grow so fast. But look at that precious little face, so tiny and so cute! <3

Can’t wait to see you again real soon, little one! :o)

*Sigh, SO sweet!*

Love this little guy!

<3

I mean … come one!!! How ridiculously cute, right??!!!

And a few details, squished ears, a button nose, some beautiful lips and cute little baby feet :o)

LOVE those little lips!!! :o)

Love this one … but then … I love them all :o)

And one of the proud parents :o)
